Super Seal Race Report

Okay since I dont think anyone has wrote a blog let alone a RR I figured I'll kick it off.

Before the Start
Water temp was about 60ish...it was nice though compared to the cove over the past week. The military started in wave 13 so 35 minutes after the original wave. Thanks Maria, I actually left to go do a TT training ride on Fiesta Island. How did the race go for you?

No way man - don't be sorry. You guys are just faster then me on the bike! You all needed to go and I just couldn't hang. It's those bird legs of mine. Good for running, not so powerful on the bike. I suppose I will get stronger the more I train though. I'm new to cycling so it has been humbling. I didn't hang out for the awards either. I had to get home and watch my kiddos so my wife could go to a baby shower. Hopefully we can ride again soon. The more I ride with fast people like you, Maj H, Ski, and LtCol Armes the more it will help me get faster. Have a great rest of the weekend. Jason

Greg,
Sweet ride yesterday man. Congratulations!!! Wish I could have kept up going up that last little hump from the guard shack. I was right behind you and Josh and then I just got smoked. I need to do some hill work. I guess it wasn't terrible for my first bike race! I was proud of you guys though. See you soon. Jason

Thanks Greg--I'll check one out this weekend. I think I'm going to jump on the Six Carbon 3; price range is about right for me and it has pretty good Shimano Dura Ace mix package.
