Never Give Up

I have not had much of a season so far this year, I haven't even competed in one event. I have trained but for what.............. my own sanity. I have been struggling with work and family life and the general get you downs that we all deal with. Bike Gearing

I own a 2008 Quintano Roo Kilo 52cm The cranks are Gosamer FSA The big ring is 53 The small ring is 39 The big ring says 53/39 showing both sizes the small ring says 39T –s10 I am not sure what the s10 is Both rings say 130 mm The rear gearing are 25 on the biggest gear The rear gearing are 12 on the smallest gear Total of 10 rear gears I want to modify my gearing to focus more on the upper gears and not have as many lower gears. Cycle For ALS Event

All: I really hope some of you can make it to the February 7th Cycle For ALS event. Yes we are trying to raise money but even more importantly we are working on raising awareness of the terrible disease. We are hoping that each person can get $100 woth of donations for ALS but anything helps! Arizona Was A Success!

I finished the IMAZ in 15:18:19 and had a wonderfu time doing it. The whole week people talked and motivated you as other athletes and spectators. I trained a long time for this event probably longer than I really should have but I felt good going in. Race day was pretty chilly and still dard up until about 15 minutes before the gun so it was cold. A week from tomorrow is my day

I have trained for almost a year for the IronMan Arizona. I bought a "real" bike, I took time away from my family and I feel like I haven't slept in a year. It has been hard but honestly has been a huge blessing to me. I have changed physically, bur more imporantly I have changed mentally. I am not cocky but even going into the race I feel I have won and have had one of the most wonderful and rewarding personal years in a long long time.
